This fictional look behind the scenes of consulates and personnel offices at the United Nations asks the question: how can there be world peace if New York and New Jersey hate each other? Personal and political issues collide in this streaming dramedy.

Meanwhile, strategic staff and interpreters grow frustrated by their seemingly meaningless work, causing some rash decisions in both their personal and professional lives.

When climate activists force a lockdown of the UN headquarters, the newest ambassador for a military junta in West Africa is trapped with the Russian and German representatives who are both eager to exert their influence on him. All three are implored to stay put by a UN staffer out of her depth, and so the global battle for power in Africa rages just outside the UN cafeteria.
